About

Deployment is a blog focused on software development, security, and operations. I started it to share what I was working on or researching to solve real problems. While most posts still come from that kind of work, more recently I’ve also been writing about foundational topics in the Key Concepts series.

My name is Romulo Santos, and I’m a software engineer with experience in enterprise software development and distributed systems, currently focused on security.

I also wrote the following tutorials for the Google Cloud Community website. That site is now retired, but the tutorials are archived on GitHub:

• Connecting GKE workloads to services in different Google Cloud projects using Shared VPC
• Injecting secrets into Google Kubernetes Engine Pods using HashiCorp Vault and Google Cloud Auth
• Restrict Google Kubernetes Engine Workload Identity with Kyverno
